Hoping to plan a stay (sometime in late 2021) in order to celebrate family member's 60th and 30th birthdays.
We will be traveling from Northern Ireland but would like to stay a few days in a fancy hotel-a castle type setting if possible.
Does anyone have any favorites to recommend? It can be anywhere in Ireland.

A few amazing 5-star luxury castle hotels in Ireland include Adare Manor, Ashford Castle, Dromoland Castle, Glenapp Castle, an.d Waterford Castle. Two other impressive estates - although not castles - are Ballyfin and The K Club. Good luck!!

If you can afford Ashford Castle that would be my recommendation. The grounds are stunning and the service impeccable
If you stay at the Ashford Castle be sure to purchase the 90 minute hawk walk, it is really cool and worth every penny!
I am late to respond, but we have been lucky enough to visit Ashford Castle four times and each time we regret that we have to leave. It is undoubtedly an expensive indulgence, but if you can afford it, the memories and relaxation you will experience will exceed every expectation. The surrounding area is also gorgeous, and Galway is just an hour’s drive.
