Carrick-a-Red Rope Bridge. Need advance reservation in mid-November?

Hello friends,

My family will be visiting Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge in mid-November. Given this is off-tourist season, do you think it is necessary to purchase advance time reservations this time of year? (Our travel time that day is rather difficult to predict, so if not necessary, I am inclined not to book in advance.)

If you feel advance reservation is needed, is the time reservation for trail entry, or the bridge itself? (I understand it is a 20 minute walk on the trail to get to the bridge.)

We were there last October and had no problems with parking and just walking in. I know it was maybe noon or so mid week and crowds were minimal including getting on the bus back up to the entrance.

It’s been a few years, but it was an October, and we just walked right up. There were only a few other people there.

We were also there in October and were among the only people in the parking lot/walk to the bridge. It was definitely a 20 minute or so walk to the bridge but that was as nice as the bridge--sheep, fields, flowers...Have fun!
