My husband and I will arrive from Dublin by train in Limerick on September 15, 2016. We would like to rent an automatic car for three days and return it to the Shannon Airport on September 18 as we will be flying to London that morning. Any suggestions on a car rental company in Limerick or will I have to go to Shannon to get the car rental? If so, how should I get to Shannon?

You might check out Dan Dooley, they show a "Limerick City" location and a "Shannon" one as well, though I note it does not say Shannon Airport. Many people have said good things about Dooley. Also, search this Forum for other threads about the ins and outs of car rentals Ireland.
