In October, I will be staying at Jury's Inn, Parnell Street. On my third day there, I want to rent a car for two days. I don't want to have to travel to the airport and then back there again to return it.
Can anyone help me with a car rental place in the city, perhaps near Parnell Street?

Just did a quick map search and there's a Hertz office on the North Circular Road about 1 mile from your hotel. However, if you plan on heading south or west, you might want to rent a car off the South Circular Road. It will save you from having to drive in Dublin. And if you are planning on driving north to, for example, Newgrange, you might want to go to the airport anyways.
Sixt has a location at “Q Park” About 2 blocks from intersection of Parnell and O’Connell streets., about a 5-10 minute walk from your hotel.
