Has anyone had experience with renting a car in Dublin and returning it in Belfast? Oh yes, it has to me an automatic even though that is more costly. Which company did you use?

I haven't done it and hopefully someone who has can answer your question. I will simply point out the obvious that Dublin and Belfast are in different countries so that may mean a significant drop fee.

I have not done this, but using the autoeurope.ie website and plugging in some random summer dates returned options with Hertz and Europcar. One way drop fee of €160. Not cheap, about €150/day for automatic transmission.
