Cab tours in Belfast-tour sectarian neighborhood

In the Rick Steves book on Ireland published 2020, one of the cab companies he recommended
was www.cabtoursbelfast.com. 45 pounds per person.
Has anyone recently had experience with this particular company? If not what other companies have you used that you would recommend? Thank you.

I did a taxi tour ten days ago with Belfast Tours. It was excellent.

I found them through recommendations on this board.

Prices have gone up since 2020.

We had a reservation with Belfast Tours (belfasttoursDOTcom), and some guy showed up but then asked us if we'd prepaid. Then he said he wasn't there for us. He made up a ridiculous name that started with the same initials as mine. He said our cab would be coming. So, we stood there and waited. He sat there for about 5 minutes and left. We waited about another 15-20 minutes, and nobody showed up for us. We went back into our hotel and let the desk clerk know that we were going to our room, in case anybody showed up for us. She asked us what had happened, and we told her. She checked her computer and there was nobody else staying at the hotel with those initials. She said she'd try to book with another company for us. She ended up booking us with this company: http://belfastblackcabtours.co.uk (aka Paddy Campbell Tours). It was an excellent experience--a real highlight of our visit to Belfast. She and Paddy Campbell tours saved the day for us.

As for Belfast Tours, they had no reasonable explanation of what happened. We had an email showing we had a confirmed tour with them, but they didn't honour it. Our guess is that the driver got a more lucrative booking. (They make more with more passengers, and there were only two of us.) Anyway, I think their treatment of us was unacceptable, and I would never recommend them for that reason.

We took one thru Taxi Tours Belfast, Ltd. last Saturday. Our guide was Sean. We felt he did a great job. Picked us up outside Jury's Inn. We were very pleased and booked this online.

I was looking into the cab tours but then decided on a walking tour. The Coiste walking tour ended up being almost 3 hours and cost 12 pounds per person. There is a lot of walking though, not sure if you are up for that.
