Bushmills to Belfast then to Dublin

Hi, Looking for your advice. We are staying 3 days in Bushmills to do some hiking along the coast. I am looking to see how to get from Bushmills to Belfast and then to Dublin to catch a 3 pm flight. Having trouble finding a way from Bushmills to Belfast earlier in the morning. I believe there is a train almost hourly from Belfast to Dublin.

Thoughts/suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Taxi to Coleraine, then train and bus as above.
The first bus from Bushmills is at 0801. The connections from that arrives at DUB at 1315.
You want the 0651 or 0719 trains from Coleraine, arrive DUB 1015 or 1115.

Use Translink to plan and buy through tickets.

The bus is the all year #172 not listed on the above link (which is at least 15 years out of date). TheBut it exists and always has.

I would advise you to book the dublin train you can only book in advance 28 days, the dublin train is very busy it its the Only Train service in Northern Ireland you can book in advance, local services (EG the Coleraine to Belfast) cannot be booked in advance there is no need to ,just turn up and purchase tickets and go you will always get a seat and no you cannot reserve seats on trains in Northern Ireland( unlike the rest of the UK)
