Burren, Cliffs and Dunguaire banquet

Is it too long of a day to try to fit in all three: The Burren, Cliffs of Moher and end with the medieval banquet at Dunguaire Castle? We'd be coming from and returning to Galway.

We live in Ireland now and have done this from Dublin in a day with the kids but it was a full day. You can expect to drive about 1.5hrs to Cliffs of Moher and you could spend about 2-3hrs there on avg (maybe more depending on how busy, how many pictures, how long you spend in the museum and if you go to both ends. The Burrens are only about 30min from there and we spent a couple hours walking around and eating (2.5hrs) so depending on when your banquet is you should have time.

We were in Ireland this past September and I wanted to do a castle banquet as well. Some friends of ours had just come back and raved about the Bunratty Banquet but we were not going to be near Bunratty so I chose the Dunguaire Castle banquet (operated by the same folks). Now any place can have an off night, but I have to say t was awful. The mead was delicious and I should have stopped there. The chicken was rubbery, the vegetables either caned or a very poor quality frozen. My wife leaned over and asked "who's running for office?" When the desert was about to be served we thought that at least would be good. Im pretty sure it was a frozen apple pie as well.

We also were in Ireland this past September. We did the Dunguaire Banquet and we enjoyed it. The food was quite good and the Mead was excellent. The show was entertaining, although nothing spectacular. I am a bit partial because when the cast tells the tale of the "Claddagh ring", they then give a ring to one of the "Lady's" in the audience, and I was the lucky receipient. We did enjoy it, but one time was a sufficient experience for us.
