My kids are 21 and 25. They are worried the Medieval dinner might not be something they want to do. My friends in their 50s loved it. I hate to book it for all four of us and it be a waste for the younger generation.
No one can tell you if your kids would enjoy it or not. Some people will love it, some will like it and some will hate it.
It is VERY touristy and the food is so-so.
It is not a must-do.
However, we still had fun!
We enjoyed it, even though it was rather "touristy." You kids could hang out instead at Durty Nellie's pub which is nearby.
Not really. It's hokey and the food is mediocre. Got dragged there by friends. It's okay but certainly not anything my twenties would enjoy. Those into history want real history and those that aren't into history feel it's pretty lamely done. By no means a bad evening but other better options abound.
I've done the folk park twice and the medieval dinner once......I Love the folk park, lots of great photo opportunities. Perhaps the folk park, a walk thru the castle, and diiner at dirty Nelles ?
