I am planning a trip for my family of 4 and would love to stay in castle one night. We have two adults and two teens, we will be staying in the Dingle area several nights and flying in and out of Dublin. So somewhere along the way would be great. Thanks for any advice!
Just curious why you are flying into Dublin instead of Shannon if you are spending most of your time in Dingle. Makes more sense to fly into Shannon.
Our tour group stayed at the Ashford Castle for two wonderful nights. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay longer. The Ashford Castle is the former summer home of the Guinness Family. The grounds are spectacular. Our room overlooked the water. We were escorted off our river boat, by a bagpiper, across a bridge and into the castle. He played his music the whole time.
