I am thinking about renting a bicycle in Dublin and riding to Trim. I plan to tour the country around Trim and visit Bru na Boinne via bicycle. Does this seem reasonable?

It’s only 26 miles, so it’s a very reasonable ride. Be aware that many of the roads between Dublin and Trim do not have shoulders, so you’ll be riding with vehicles. Plan your route, then do a google maps street view to find out which roads, if any, have shoulders. Using “map my ride,” there are no bike paths after you leave Dublin.
