Hi! My friend and I will be going to Ireland this summer and out flight lands in Dublin at 11:50pm u figure by the time we get through customs and get our luggage it will be very late, or early depending on how you look at it, but what would be the best way to get to our hotel? We will be staying near St. Stephens Green. Thank you!!

There are various buses, but they don't all run that late. I would plan to take a taxi for 25-30 euros. Taxis may take credit cards, but I'd still be sure to get cash at an ATM in the airport.

I would ask the hotel if they can arrange transportation for you, or if not, if they have any advice. Some hotels will work with a taxi or car service company to make such arrangements, and if they do, they can tell you ahead of time what it will cost and how you will need to pay.
