Hello,
I just returned from a 10 day trip to Ireland.
I took a one day tour up to the Giants Cause with Wild Rover Tours.
Here is how the tour went:
7 am tour pickup at the Starbucks on Dames Street. Near Trinity College
First stop, coffee and bathroom break. Good idea to grab sandwich and snacks for lunch.
Next, Belfast. Here you had the option of the Titanic Experience or the Black Taxi Tour. I had picked the taxi tour. I felt it was very informative. Happened to be there on the 12th of July. Some bonfires and Protestant parades going on. I believe the tour was an hour long. Still had about 20 minutes to just look around outside and in the gift shop and use the bathroom at the Titanic Experience.
A quick photo opt at an overlook for Dunluce Castle.
Giants Causeway (2 hours) WOW. Loved it! Had my picnic on the causeway.
Final stop, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (90 minutes, I think). Fantastic!
Then, the long ride home. Did stop again for a bathroom break.
Got back by 8 pm to Dublin.
The driver was great, safe.
The guide was very informative on the ride all the way up to the pickup at the rope bridge.
He talked for a little while, explain the ride and was then let everyone rest. After the final bathroom break, he talked some more about the Boyne Valley.
I give this tour 5/5 stars.

Now, I was traveling alone and made friends with the gal next to me. She told me that the day before she did the Cliffs of Moher tour. She was not impressed. This is what she told me, basically they drive several hours to Galway and had lunch (on your own) there and not really time to explore. Then to the cliffs (1 hour visit) and then back to Dublin. She said that there was just way too much time spent on the bus. But, she said the the Giants Causeway tour was fantastic.
