We loved our visit to the National Museum ( saw " the bog mummies"!!) and while I don't even like beer, I thought the Guinness Storehouse tour was very interesting . We also loved the Collins Barracks museum, learned a lot about Irish history there , especially " the troubles " .
However our most fun highlights were taking the "Rural Pub Tour" , nothing like a pub crawl in the city, you go out into the countryside and visit some very cool locals!!!

And our best day trip was to Howth to walk the cliffs and have the best mussels ever on the docks !

The Farm in Dublin and Martine's in Galway...both restaurants also offer wonderful "Early Bird" menus...the same food but a few euros less.
