What places seem like the best and most beautiful/engaging places for a Jaunting Car ride? We have horses at home so are not just looking for the ride itself if it's not a great location to see on that ride. Asking this because we did one once on another trip to another place that just went around a barren field once and then back to the start and it was obvious it was designed just for people who wanted to be near horses for a bit and having their photos taken standing by the horses. We'd be very interested in combining the Jaunting Car ride with a beautiful location to see as we go. What Jaunting Car outings might hit this the best?

The Gap of Dunloe, Co. Kerry, just outside of Killarney is the place you want to be. The scenery is striking. Three options below, and there are probably others too.

I agree with David, the Gap of Dunloe is great. I did a day tour that combined a boat ride across the lake with the jaunting car through the Gap on the other side. We were asked to get out of the cart and walk a steep portion of the hill as the full cart would have been pretty difficult for the one pony, but it wasn’t a problem. It is still one of my favourite day trips.
