Spending 3 nights in central Dublin in May. Which pubs should we visit?

The Temple Bar area is the most famous part of Dublin but I like a pub a few blocks away called O’Neals, the food was excellent, Guinness is a national treasure, plenty of places to sit and locals were friendly. You should consider signing up for the “Literary Pub Crawl”, two guys take you on a tour of 4 different pubs and perform literature from Irish history, this was one of the best experiences we had in Ireland!!

My suggestion if you have Netflix, is to watch a documentary called Irish Pubs. Really gives you insight on the irish culture of the pub and also, it was fun to see if we would be in the area of any of the pubs featured in the documentary.
In Dublin, we went to the Palace Bar. which was featured in the documentary.
If you hear good trad music coming from the pub, go in!!!
