We will be taking two weeks for a "circle" driving trip of Ireland - leaving and returning from Dublin. We plan on using either the "maps" app or google maps if we are able to use our cell phones throughout Ireland. However, we want to have a really good paper map available in case they don't work. Can anyone recommend a good one?
Thanks,
Bob
I don't know its quality, but Amazon sells Collins Ireland Comprehensive Road Atlas.
Here's a useful review of Ireland maps by Mindie Burgoyne:

Michelin's map #712 is the best. It covers the entire Republic and Northern Ireland in great detail (a scale of 1:400,000 with one inch = 6.31 miles). We use it exclusively on all our bicycle trips, since it shows just about everything: all the major and minor roads, scenic routes, multiple geographic features, rail lines, pre-historic and other sites, offshore islands, ferry routes and more.
The pubs you gotta find on your own though!
