We have one full day! What is the best day trip? We will have a car so we can go wherever. I don't mind a very full day and long drive.

I thought about Northern Ireland - The dark hedges and Giant's Causeway. I also thought about Galway and Cliffs of Moher. We may have a little more time than I originally thought. We will fly in on late Thursday night - we will have all day Friday and Saturday and fly out of Dublin Sunday.

Then absolutely visit NI. Visiting the Giants Causway years ago a very fond memory as it wasn’t an RS destination yet and we virtually had the place to ourselves.
Remember you will need pounds not euros for currency in NI.
I do think you’ll love Glendalough as well so try to keep that on your list.

Newgrange....mind blowing. Wicklow/Glendalough....insanely beautiful. Both...perfect.
