Hi! Visiting Ireland in Mid November. I booked a room at the Actons Hotel in Kinsale. We want a room with a view of the water but close to town. We'd rather stay at a nice B&B. Any suggestions? Anything in the vicinity?

We stayed at Tierney's Guesthouse Bed & Breakfast in Kinsale several years ago and loved it. Hopefully it hasn't changed. It's not on the water but is right in the center of town. Google them, check out their web site and see what you think.

From there It's a short walk into town, and there's a very pretty coastline walk that will take you to Charles Fort. Goes right past the Bulman Pub in the little village of Summercove - which is worth a stop going to or coming from the fort (or both).

The Perryville House is right across the street from the harbor just as you're entering from the east.
