Belfast to Cushendall- how to get there?

Hello!
I am looking for information on how to get from Belfast to Cushendall.

My ancestors are from Cushendall, Antrim, and so after the 14 Best of Ireland tour is over I wanted to go to Cushendall for a few days. I am not finding much information on how to get there. I am very leery of driving on the opposite side of the road (as I have very bad memories of my friend driving us in London and to Bath). Is there a bus to take or a driver that I could hire (that's not too expensive)/Uber?

Additionally, has anyone gone to Campbeltown, Scotland? I also have family from there and was trying to figure out if I could get there easily enough or if it would be too hard (from Cushendall or Belfast).

There's a seasonal ferry between Ballycastle and Campbeltown.

Other than that it's a long journey from Belfast to Glasgow to Campbeltown.

It looks like you can get from Belfast to Cushendall by bus with one connection. Use http://www.translink.co.uk/ to plan ahead. There may be more service at commuter hours, generally for workers heading into the city, and less on weekends.
