Hi. I'm going to be in Belfast for 1-2 this summer. Everything in Rick Steve's guide is booked. Does anyone have any suggestions for a moderately priced hotel near the city center? Thanks.
What is “moderately priced” (In GBP) to you?
We are trying to stay around 150 a night, but things seem to be more expensive in Belfast.
Ten Square Hotel seems recently remodeled and the rooms, rates, location, and breakfast were all good. Seemed like a bargain last Spring @ $136/double. I make my reservations way in advance, so prices may vary.
We're going in August, and the Ten Square is about 400 for a twin room, but thanks for the suggestion.
We are staying at Premiere Inn City Centre Alfred Street. We got a pretty good price and the location is great!
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Belfast City Centre.
Excellent location. One block from the bus station and one block from Great Victoria St.
There's a Hampton Inn across the street but I've never stayed there.
I just checked Ten Square (in disbelief) and I could find 400/nt for a Sat night (8/17-18). The previous Sat (8/10-11) is only 268/nt. A Wednesday is 188. We stayed Fri-Mon at the rate I mentioned. Maybe it was a special deal for some sort of re-opening? Sorry for false hopes.
