Belfast hotels and transportation to the airport

We are taking a train from Dublin to Belfast at the end of May. Spending a few nights in Belfast before flying to Glasgow for the RS Best of Scotland tour.

The Great Victoria Train Station has a great location so this isn't a problem.

I have searched the forum and have found no hotel recommendations. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also how do we get from central Belfast to the airport. I checked on the Holiday Inn website and they mentioned there is not a shuttle offered and did not provide alternatives.

Thanks everyone for your help.

In 2018 I took the Rick Steves' Ireland tour which ended in Belfast. We stayed a big hotel downtown. I don't remember the name, but they said Bill Clinton had stayed there, so it is probably not reasonably priced. I just took a taxi to the airport. I don't remember the cost, but that means I thought it was a reasonable price.

Premier Inn Titanic Quarter, City Center Cathedral Quarter or City Center Alfred Street. So 3 PI’s to choose from.

Take the bus or a cab to the airport.

Take a taxi to the airport, Uber or other, it's not far.

Thanks for the information. I looked at the PI and we decided on the Maldron Hotel with a good location and a fair price.

We're leaving from the city airport which is quite close, so a taxi will work out well.

We stayed at the Flint and liked it a lot. The location was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with even a bit of a kitchenette. The front-desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The only downside was that the street was noisy. A room facing away from the street would be quieter, I think.

There are also airport buses from the bus station, just a few minutes walk from your hotel.

Be aware.....the train from Dublin to Belfast does not go to the Great Victoria Station. It goes to Lanyon Place station. From Lanyon Place you get a shuttle train, most likely from the same platform, to Great Victoria.

From Belfast, I also flew to Scotland (not Glasgow.) On the morning of my departure, I took a Taxi tour of Belfast and had them drop me off at the airport afterwards.
