Looking for suggestions for a private day tour. Any nice pub for lunch in Belfast ? I know the Titanic which we will skip... looking for other suggestions. Thanks.
Black cab tours.
Kelly’s Cellar.
If you like seafood then eat at Mournes. Still dream of the seafood chowder I enjoyed there.
We spent three nights in Belfast last May, and although I initially resisted, we went to Titanic and found it to be much more than about the ship. Lots of period history, photos, artifacts, etc. Glad I changed my mind.
Crumlin Goal is also good, but if you do Kilmainham in Dublin, it's somewhat redundant (although from a different perspective).
Our favorite part of Belfast was McHugh's Bar for music which might happen in the afternoon. Mourne Seafood might be your best lunch choice, although it's not a pub.
I've read good things on this forum about a Black Cab Tour, which we'll do next visit.
Ulster Museum (the one near the Botanic Gardens) is incredibly broad in coverage, although it won't be a short visit.
Thank you for the great ideas. I'm on a tour so not sure if I'll be able to do the black cabs..m I'm familiar with that.
