Belfast City Pass from Translink cover travel to and from the Park and Rides to Belfast?

We are traveling (driving) from Dublin to Bangor on Sunday 9/15, and have tickets to the Titanic Museum at 2:00 pm. It will be a tight timeline, as we are picking up our rental car at 10 am, and then driving to Bangor. My plan was to drive to Bangor and then take a taxi back to Belfast, but even if we pick up our car, get acclimated to the car and get on the road by 11, that does not leave much time to get to Bangor, park, call a cab, and get back to the city.

So I'm thinking I would like to use the Dundonald Park and Ride, take the train into the city, instead of going to our hotel in Bangor.

Does the Belfast City Pass, offered by Translink, cover travel from the Park and Rides? It's a little confusing to me, as there are several different modes of transport, offered by different entities.

Thank you!

The Visitor Pass covers all Translink services in Greater Belfast.

However there is no rail line serves the Park and Ride.

The main service is the Glider (a sort of bus meets tram) and on the Urby bus- which is just a branding of some Ulsterbus/Translink routes within the city.

Likewise it would be valid on the local bus routes which run along the road outside the Park and Ride site.

As you will not be going to any of the outlets you can buy a Visitor Card at you will need to have it mailed to you- that takes 5 days to UK addresses, longer to non UK addresses.

To get from Dundonald to the Titanic Museum takes 50 minutes as you have to take G1 into the city centre, change stops then take G2 back out to the Titanic.

The AA journey planner gives me 2 hours 3 minutes drive time from Dublin Airport to Dundonald or 2 hours 7 minutes to Bangor, or 1 hour 50 to the Titanic Museum.

So parking at Dundonald or Bangor the timings are excessively tight. I would suggest driving straight to the Museum, and thence to Bangor afterwards.
