My daughter and I are planning a trip to Ballymaloe Cookery School. We are visiting, not taking a class. We are flying RT, Amsterdam to Cork.
Car rentals are just out of sight, so I'm trying to find an alternative. According to Rome2Rio, we can take a taxi from the airport to Ballymaloe for around 60 euros. We would stay for 2 nights.
My daughter also wants to see Kinsale. Again, according to Rome2Rio, we can take a taxi from Ballymaloe. I thought we could spend the day in Kinsale and then catch the bus (very reasonable) back to Cork. We would have a very early flight out the next day if we use AerLingus.
Does this sound reasonable? I hate to spend 1/2 the cost of the trip on a car rental if there is an alternative.
