B&B mentioned on p. 513 of Rick Steves' 2017 Ireland Book

Under "Types of Accommodations" Rick Steves mentions
"One of my favorite Irish B&Bs...will never be tourist-board approved because it has no dedicated breakfast room (a strict requirement in the eyes of the board). Instead, guests sit around a large kitchen table and enjoy a lively chat with the friendly hosts as they cook breakfast 10 feet away."

Can anyone give me the name of this B&B and where it is located?

thanks,
Deb

I don't know if you can find the place you are looking for but try Airbnb for other accommodations that may not be in strict adherence to the B&B standards

I don't know which one he is thinking of, but one we have stayed at twice which has this exact setup is Lawcus Farm Guesthouse near Kilkenny. Mark and Ann Marie are two of the nicest people on the planet and you couldn't ask for a prettier location. It's in the countryside just outside Thomaston, on the banks of a small river. They have farm animals and Mark will set you up for fishing in the river if you like. It's close to Kells Priory and Jerpoint Abbey.
