Average costs for B&B for two people in Ireland

I know this is a horribly open question. I am just trying to get a very preliminary handle on costs before looking at creating a more detailed plan. Can anyone suggest what I would be looking at for an average B&B outside of the main cities in Ireland? This would be for my wife and I.

If I recall correctly, 60-90 euro is about what to expect.

We have booked 5 B&B's for our trip in May, prices ranging from E75-110/night... Trim, Oughterard, Kinvarra, Castlemaine, and Kinsale. Of course, this includes breakfast. We booked 2 nights at The Schoolhouse Hotel in Dublin ($183/night inc,. tax but no breakfast). We budgeted $1,200 for our 12 night stay and came in a bit under budget. Hope this helps.

We are going in the second week of September through to the end of the month - at least that is the plan for now

You can expect the same approximate cost in September as in May.... I think the previous poster gave some great ideas on costs. The unfortunate thing for you and I is that the CDN $ is worth so little than when you convert, it is a little shocking! Enjoy Ireland, you will love it!

Ask if the rate is per person or per room. That will impact your budget. Our b&b in Ballsbridge was per person.

Kevin know that October 1st 0r thereabouts a lot of attractions shift to reduced winter hours......so its best to check on the things you want to do to verify

Thank you for the tips so far. Very helpful. I forgot about the per person vs per room distinction. Thank you
