ATMs in Dublin That Take Discover

Hello,
I am travelling to Dublin soon and my plan was to use my Capital One Debit Card to get some euros once I get there at a local bank atm, however Capital One and Discover have merged and they are sending me a new debit card now that only works on the Discover network. I'm only in Dublin a few days then I fly to Paris leaving from CDG to Rennes by train. I can wait until I get back to Paris and visit La Poste as some recent travelers have done but wondering if any ATMs in Dublin are on the "Pulse" network>?

Cheers

If you haven’t updated to begin using the new card, yet, don’t do it! Your old debit card will still work (not tied to Discover). I brought my old one last month to Italy - purposely didn’t accept the new one, yet. The old one is still valid until early December.

Otherwise, if you have updated and accepted the replacement new card, plan to have a different ATM card. People on the forum have been reporting that they can’t get money with the new Capital One card in Europe.

Here’s some previous conversation on the forum:

It is my understanding the card will also work on the Pulse network and the bank AIB. I ran Dublin earlier today and found quite a few convenient ATMs. As I will only need the cash for tips, I just need to visit one once, I think I will ride this out to see how it works. And as my trip is not until 2026 there is time for Cap One to figure it out. (I also have a Back up ATM from my bank, which I rarely use, but could.) Otherwise there would be tips via tech when I could.

PS, This is how I understand it. I am not an expert.

If you have until 2026, consider getting a debit card that works on all networks and ATM fees are refunded- Charles Schwab Investor Checking.
