I am arriving in Dublin for a 3 day stay and have rooms booked at the Ashling Hotel on Parkgate st. Can anyone advise the best way to get to the hotel from the airport? Cab? Bus? I have not checked with the hotel yet but possibly they have a shuttle pick up; anyone know?
Thanks!
There is a very nice bus service from the airport into the city, called Airlink. Here is a link:

You can buy a round trip ticket at the airport. It's 6 euros one way, 10 euros for the round trip. The brochure lists the Ashling Hotel at the Heuston Rail Station stop.
We have used this a couple of times and were very pleased.
Greetings from Ireland, its about €25 from airport front door to Ashling Hotel front door. Id choose that to save time and to save dragging bags across from Heuston Station (though thats not far).
I stayed in the Ashling last week for the 1916 celebrations, its a pretty decent hotel, location isn't the greatest but the Luas (tram line) is only a few minutes walk away and it is very handy to get up to the city centre.
Enjoy our capital city
