At the end of our trip, we will be arriving at Connolly station in Dublin around noon on a Sunday, and plan to spend the afternoon and early evening in the city before traveling by bus to our airport hotel. What are our options for storing our luggage during the day? Where should we plan to pick up the airport bus (and do we need to book tickets in advance)? If you’ve done this, I’d love any tips and advice. I don’t think this should matter, but it will also be a Bank Holiday weekend (June 1). Thanks!

The Dublin Express Airport bus does NOT stop outside Connolly. It stops round the corner on Custom House Quay.
There is NO left luggage facility within Connolly or any other Irish Station, due to the security risks. All such facilities through various internet companies are in nearby shops or hotels, or in the Busaras. There are several within a 5 minute walk of Connolly.
