Arriving in 2 weeks, still a few questions

Travelling as a family with 2 teens.
Plan is as follows:
Su 9/7 arrive Dublin, drive to Ennis. 2 nights.

Mo 10/7 Cliffs of Moher + Poulnadrome dolmen + some Burren area

Tu 11/7 Bunratty castle &Folk park in the morning, continue via Adare to Dingle. 1 night

We 12/7 Slea head drive, continue to Killarney. 4 nights

To 13/7- Sa 15/7 Killarney area + National park+ Ring of Kerry + leisure time with shopping?

Su 16/7 Drive via Cahir castle and/or Rock of Cashel to Kilkenny. 2 nights

Mo 17/7 See Kilkenny and maybe the nearby cave?

Tu 18/7 Drive via Glendalough and Wicklow mountains to Dublin. Stay near airport and fly back home in the morning.

Does this make sense to you? I have booked accommodation for the towns so that's sorted. We won't have any jet lag, flying from Europe.
Would you drive M6 or M7 to Ennis?

Is it possible to do Bunratty castle in the morning and drive to the Cliffs after that? Too long day? That way we would have more time on the drive to Dingle..

Where would you have lunch near the Cliffs/Burren and Ring of Kerry?

Any feedback and tips are highly appreciated! I have mostly focused on only the accommodation so the driving routes, restaurants and sadly some sights are still a mystery. Will have to read some more guidebooks..

We did Bunratty on our way to the Cliffs. We left Dingle around 9 am, stopped at Bunratty for 2.5 hours or so and then on to the Cliffs before stopping in Galway for the night. It was a pretty long day but very fun! We had lunch at Bunratty that day.

When we drove the Ring of Kerry, we had lunch in Derrynane. Just had a picnic on the gorgeous beach there. There was a grocery store/deli right by the beach. There are tons of little towns along the way though and all have pubs that offer great food. You will not be lacking for lunch options.

When we were in the Killarney area, we took in a sheep herding demonstration at Kissane farms. It was great fun.

In Killarney and Dingle you will have to stop at Murphy's ice cream.. yum! In Dingle, we had dinner at Murphy's pub and loved our food and the atmosphere as well

In Kilkenny, we really enjoyed Kyteler's inn. It comes with a great back story

Hope this helps a little... have a great trip!

When you are at Bunratty, I would recommend a stop for lunch at the pub across the street. We happened upon it while visiting Bunratty on our trip. It is called The Original Durty Nelly's, and dates from the 1620's. We enjoyed the ambiance and it is certainly different from any thing your kids would see in the States. Look it up on Trip Advisor, if you want photos.

We also enjoyed not planning every moment, so that if something interesting caught our attention, we could have the freedom to explore and enjoy the unexpected things we came upon. For instance, we opted to stay two more nights in Dingle, because it was so lovely. The Slea Head drive and Ring of Kerry are similar, both breathtaking, but Dingle was less crowded and more our style.

You will have a great time! Enjoy!

Thanks for the answers! The restaurant tips will be remembered! Picnic somewhere is a must I think. Hopefully the weather will be sometime suitable for that ☺
