Arrival in DUB and hotel accommodations

First timer across the pond! :-) pardon this question if it a bit novice, but I'm concerned about hotel or B&B accommodations when we arrive in Dublin. Our flight gets in at 5:20 a.m. How have others handled arrangement so that we can check in that early?

Thank you!!

In many early arrivals, I have never been refused by a Hotel or B&B to at least hold my bags, on rare occassions they have rooms ready and will let you go ahead and stash your bags and freshen up. You might email them and let them know and ask if you could drop off bags.

Have you made a reservation for your accommodation? Email or (aghast) call them to discuss your early arrival.
Any hotel will have some one at the front desk. B and B's make their money catering to travelers so any good owner will be able to accommodate your early arrival. It's Ireland for gawdsakes not a 3rd world country.

Not particularly for Ireland, but many years ago when I arrived in London early in the AM I made a reservation for the night before and let them know I would not be in until early the next morning. We could get cleaned up a bit, have breakfast, walk around and come back for a short nap.

Thank you all! Very helpful and confirmed what I was thinking. I didn't think it would be an issue, but wanted to check with those more knowledgeable than me.

Thank you again.

To expand on Pam's comments, we once arrived in Edinburgh way to early to get our room. They stored our bags (delivered them to our room when it was ready), and charged us a minimal fee to take part in their breakfast that was being served to their current clients.
