I'm thinking of taking a tour which starts in Killarney and ends in Dublin.
Multi-city flights arriving in Shannon and returning from Dublin are more expensive than round trip to Dublin.
So, my question is if I arrive in Dublin, is there public transportation to get me to Killarney to join my tour?
On Google maps, it listed train and buses and would take over 4 hours. The length of time is OK with me but I'm not too clear on the details of which train/bus, etc.

Thank you for the links. Train is the way to go. There are plenty of trains and they go direct. I would have to change buses.

Train is 100% the way to go. Some will go direct, some may require a change at Mallow but you will find that out by looking at each train journey online.
