Am heading to Ireland for a 16 day trip on Friday. We plan to spend 1 day on Inishmore. Wondering about the cost per person to do a van tour around the island. Will vans be there for tours this early in the season?

There are companies you can book day tours with. We are going this summer and we are riding the ferry over and then touring with Aran Off-road experience. Then we will ride the last ferry back. So excited! The ferry cost €60 and the tour is €96.

I have been to Aran twice (1997 and 1999).
An alternative to a van tour is to rent a bicycle. The cost would probably be 25 euros. Though there are cars on Inishmore, traffic is practically no concern.
You can't miss the bicycle rental places in Kilronan.
