Aran Island Ferries Tickets

What is the recommended way to purchase tickets for the boat/tour to the Aran Islands (Inishmore) via Rossaveal out of Galway? Is it OK to purchase at departure from Galway (Kinlay Hostel) or is it better to purchase online?

Purchase when you are ready to board. You may decide not to go based on weather or the ferries may not even based on weather also.
