Still active 77 yo couple that likes food music scenery and light hiking and maybe a few castles going back to Ireland. We have been to Belfast and Dublin, though Belfast was in 1981 so I'm sure it is very different. We'll be flying from London and leaving to go to Edinburgh, Sept 29 to Oct 12. We don't want to drive and we would really appreciate any input on what we are currently leaning toward at this early stage. Fly from Heathrow to Cork for four nights and do one day tour to either Ring of Kerry or Dingle. Appreciate any tour company recommendations. Taxi or bus and stay three nights in Kinsale (like the idea of a city and small town experience). Take the fastest bus from Cork to Galway for four nights and do a day tour to Cliffs of Moher. Take the train from Galway to Dublin for two nights and fly to Edinburgh. All input is greatly appreciated

I’m starting to plan an Ireland trip for July 2025. Last visit was in 1992. Your itinerary sounds interesting, not rushed.
My plan is to spend a weekend with friends in Dublin after sightseeing solo. No driving, don’t want to drive by myself and my eyesight won’t let me drive at night. What I have found so far are Rabbie’s Tours. Their tours may work for you. They have two day trips from Killarney, one north and the other south. I plan to base there plus the Killarney horse race meet will be running. Feedback on the forum is good. They have other Ireland, England and Scotland tours. https://www.rabbies.com/en/ireland-tours#Ireland
