We have a day's meeting in Limerick, is there anything we should see or do while in the area?
What are your interests? Will you have a car? What does "the area" consist of? What time of year will you be visiting? What does "a day's meeting" leave you for time to explore? Google Maps shows two art museums (Hunt and Limerick City), a restored castle (King John's), a weir and a couple of cool bridges over the Shannon.
We had a nice walk through Adare and lunch when in the area, but would've liked to have seen King John's castle (ran out of time).
