All about shoes…again, lol

Here is my question for those of you who have taken the RS Best of Ireland trip. How much walking is involved getting to the “group dinners”? I have a pair of waterproof Merrell’s for days, and also a pair of waterproof Allbirds (wore in Italy). I just bought a comfy pair of slip on skeetchers (I can waterproof them) that I would love to wear (to get a break) in the evenings to dinner. I don’t think thst I could walk more than a mike in the Sketchers unfortunately. Would it be best to take the Merrell’s and the Sketchers or the Merrell’s and the Allbirds. If I’ve learned anything from this forum I’ve learned that I don’t need to bring 3 pairs of shoes! Clearly I’m overthinking this, sorry, I just want to come up with the best option. Thanks in advance. Linda

Just to add another layer of uncertainty...sometimes different guides choose different restaurants so not every tour departure eats at the same places.

I'd probably go with the Allbirds just because the time I took a pair of shoes I couldn't really walk very far in I wound up only wearing them once or twice. This was on the Best of Italy tour.

Pam you are absolutely right! Thanks for your reply. I know in my heart that the Allbirds can double as dinner shoes and go anywhere. It’s the practical choice I just needed to hear it from someone else.

You are welcome! The Sketchers are new and cute and your heart wants them, lol. Much better to have one of us here tell your heart "no", hahaha!!
