AirBnBs in Dublin?

Was last in Dublin in late 2018 and had lots of AirBnB's to choose from. Now trying to reserve accommodations for 2 adult couples over a weekend in July and can barely find a thing. A quick search landed me here https://www.irishtimes.com/news/environment/airbnb-style-short-term-rentals-to-be-refused-applications-in-dublin-1.4178857

Has anyone on this forum been successful at renting an apartment in Dublin through some other means? TIA

We are running into the same issue and need to work in the evenings so was hoping for more of an apartment than an inn. Any luck?

Staycity have opened a couple of new premises recently, they might be worth a try.

We are also trying to book a place on a July weekend and prices are high and options are few. Also check booking.com. We found an apartment with free cancellation on there so we have something booked for now while we explore a few more options. Keep in mind that sites like VRBO and AirBNB also have fees that make the total cost higher. We might go with a hotel option as it is only for 2 nights. Good luck!

As someone mentioned above, apartments are available through Staycity. That's what I've booked.
