I have booked five airbnbs for 21 days in Ireland, mainly on west coast. Dublin, Killybegs, Liscannor, Killarney, and Gilmore Quay. I now understand Ireland is going to implement new rules for AirBNB and wonder if I should cancel my airbnb reservations and book hotels? We are arriving in September so have plenty of time to change plans. Not sure what to do.

To be certain, it may be necessary to contact the cities/towns where your rentals are. Or simply message the owners now and ask a) if they're affected and b) do they intend to comply and will proof appear on AirBnB. Seems to me that it could be a question in Dublin for sure, perhaps Killarney, too. Here's a good article explaining the changes-
