I did an AirBnB in Dublin last May, but it was for four people. I was lucky to follow a veteran traveler's advice and stay away from Temple Bar. Because of the pub scene there, it is just too loud and rowdy for my taste at night. I stayed near Trinity College and it was an ideal place, within walking distance of many sights. St. Stephens Green is also a great area. I wouldn't stay north of the river, but that's just my taste and others like its more gritty feel.

We loved our Airbnb in Dublin. I believe the title was "Couldn't be more central", and it was the truth! Awesome location which made it easy to sightsee and enjoy the nightlife. Agree with the above poster about not going north of the river.
