greetings, if we are planning an outdoor hiking activity in late April on the west coast and can choose 10 AM or 3 PM is weather such that morning or afternoon would be better? I have found when in Florida often afternoon storms roll in and morning is quite often a better choice. Please share your opinion on morning vs afternoon hiking weather or if you find/found it to be totally random. There is no mountain/cliff hiking for this day out! Thanking in advance! dj

The west coast of Ireland is predictably unpredictable when it comes to the weather and can change on a dime. I would plan the time that fits your schedule the best and keep your fingers crossed. Our motto when in Ireland is "there is no bad weather, only bad clothing."

The Irish like to say the if you don't like the current weather, wait 5 minutes 'cause it will change. That was our experience.
I would pick based on what works best with your schedule and bring layers. Wear a t-shirt, a hoodies and a rain jacket and add or take off as you go :)
