I have been unable to bid for an upgrade on a June Aer Lingus flight from Boston to Dublin. Is the airline no longer offering the option to bid, or might business class already be full? (I've never had a problem in the past, even in prime time.)

I've had Aer Lingus flights without the Plusgrade option. I don't think they'll auction the last seat or two in biz.
I have an Expert Flyer subscription, and could look at the remaining inventory for you—I'd just need the date and flight #.

It looks like Aer Lingus has just four seats left to sell in the Biz cabin on that flight. Not much economy inventory remaining, either.
Also, I'm trying to remember... I don't think I've ever gotten a PlusGrade invitation to bid until closer in, like, a couple/few weeks before departure? Not really sure about that though...

Thanks again. I've actually received an offer to bid just after booking, repeated several times until I finally caved a couple of weeks before the flight. I guess I'll just hope that a last-minute bid will work. And I thank you again for clarifying this for me.
