Advise on 4 days itinerary from dublin

Hi all,
Would love peoples advise and help with my itinerary for driving from Dublin? We have hired a car and leave dublin on the 28th august.
Day 1 leave dublin travel to rock of cashel then on to cobh stay the night in cobh.
Day 2 travel to killarney for the night
Day 3 do a ring of kerry bus tour and drive to tralee for the night
Day 4 do the sea head drive then go to limmerick to stay the night
Day 5 head back to dublin. Train leaves for belfast at 2pm.
Is this doable and the best route?

Still deciding on what to see between towns

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice.

We have always been a big fan of Viator.com (also check out Paddywagon.com). They have many day bus tours, and maybe these would cost less and save the car rental problem for you.

I do hope you are not coming off a transatlantic flight? If so driving to Rock of Cashel and Cobh on Day 1 when jet lagged would be inadvisable...

Is there any particular reason for picking Tralee afor the night on Day 3? On nighters are hard work. Why not spend two mights in Killarbney as Slea Head drive can be doneas easily from Killarney as Tralee.

I'm assuming the choice of limerick is dictazted by needing to be back in Dublin in time for your train to Belfast?

Thanks for the feedback. Will be in dublin city a few days before hiring car. Limmerick was just a stop for the night so wouldn't have to trouble too far back to dublin. Would you suggest somewhere else. Thinking might 2 days in Killarney and not stop on Tralee.

N o Limerick makes sense . It is on the direct route back to Dublin. If you wanted somewhere smaller to stop, have a look at Adare about 12 miles south west of Limerick.
