My wife and I are planning our first trip to Ireland in Sept 2025: 2 days in Dublin, 3 days in the Killarney area (day trips), 2 days in Galway area (day trips) and back in Dublin for a night (all self-driving). Any advice on whether early September is better/worse than late September for these areas? I see there's an oyster festival in Galway. Thanks!

We were in Ireland ten years ago in late September. The weather was cooler than expected and then of course there is the rain. Also consider the shorter days.
My vote goes for early September.
