Advice on best tour option in Dingle and Killarney

Hi! I'm taking my two children to Ireland next month. There a couple of components that I haven't firmed up yet, and I'd be grateful for advice.

  • In Killarney, I'm contemplating a tour of the Gap of Dunloe. Does anyone have experience with this tour company (Gap of Dunloe traditional boat tours) versus Killarney Jaunting Cars. I've heard very mixed experiences about the jaunting car portion, so I'm particularly eager to choose the best tour guide, and possibly exclude the jaunting car portion.

  • In Dingle, we want to do the sheepdog/hold a baby lamb experience. It looks like there multiple places though - this one; or this option.

If anyone has experience with any of the above, I'd be really grateful! Thank you!

We stayed 4 nights in Killarney last summer. We took the traditional boat tours. I highly recommended it. We started with boat ride from Ross castle pier to Lord Brandon cottage. The boat also made a brief stop at Innishfallen, we visited the monastery. Lunch at Lord Brandon cottage. Then, you can either walk the gap to Kate Kearney or take jaunting cart. We took the cart cause weather cloudy/rainy a bit. For 3 people i think it was 120 euros.
From Kate Kearney back to Killarney, we called a cab. I recommend book you cab in advance (ask your hotel to do it). We used freenow app, it was busy. Had to wait.

Re. Dingle tour, we took Deros tour, which also had a stop a to pet baby lamb. It cost 5 euros for the petting zoo.
