In mid-July, we plan to depart DeVane's B&B in Dingle at 8:00 am and arrive at Muckross House at around 9:30? Then, we don't really want to see the Muckross House itself, but we want to take the horse and buggy ride people talk about in this forum to the waterfall. Does anyone know if the buggy ride leaves from the Muckross House, and if you can do the buggy without touring the house? So, we are hoping to take the buggy ride for about 2 hours. Then, we thought we'd eat lunch at Muckross House. We would depart Muckross area for Cashel at around 1:00 pm and arrive in Cashel at around 3:15 to stay at Joy's Rockside house. We thought we'd see the Rock of Cashel movie and tour the Rock of Cashel from 3:45 to about 5:30. Then, we can relax at Joy's until 7:00, at which time we are going to see the Bru Boru dinner show. Are there any major flaws in this plan and do you know about the horse and buggy ride to the waterfalls?

You can get a horse and jaunting car from Muckross house. They are independent of the house.
They are also based at the first gate entrance to Muckross house. There is a car park at the gate.
The car entrance to Muckross house is the 3rd gate from Killarney
