I will be in Limerick and I want to take a bus to either Adare or Tipperary. I can't do both because I need to be on a 2:30pm train to Galway. It takes less time to get to Adare from Limerick by bus but I can take one of the two trains from Limerick to Tipperary as well. Any suggestions?

While I've not been to Limerick, I have been to Adare. I was there about 6 years ago staying at the Dunraven Arms for a week. It's very picturesque, with thatched roof buildings, though it is a small village. I think you would only need about 1-2 hours walking up and down the main and cross streets as well as through the park. I would say it's geared to visiting tourists, interpret that for what you want. Should you be an equestrian, I highly recommend Clonshire Stables, they are wonderful, we spent the week training there.
