Accommodations in Dublin

My name is Everett Toepfer for3 days at the end of our 17 night uk tour. I’m looking for a good value stay in Dublin Sept. 19-23,2026. I was hoping $100-150 per night for my wife ands me. We’re in our 60s and retired school teachers. Air b&b or hotel? Anything but a hostel.

AirBnB is problematic in Dublin due to the housing shortage there. I'm a devoted AirBnB user and host, but I won't use that platform in Dublin anymore. Last time, I stayed at the Zanzibar Locke apartment hotel. I booked it through a third-party site (maybe Super.com? I found it on Trivago). I don't think you're likely to find anything in Dublin City Center for $150/night that's not a hostel. Even then, I don't think you'll get two beds for that price. For late September dates this year, I'm seeing a minimum of $200/night for a hotel.

I agree that it’s tough finding anything under $200 per night on weekends in September and your dates fall partly during a weekend.
You might try Trivago.com and Booking.com

We had two one night stays in Dublin in May that were both about $160 (non-cancellable was $130, I think). PointA and EasyHotel are both comfortable and modern, in walking distance of everything. The rooms are hilariously small, especially EasyHotel but you get what you pay for, and in our view, lodging is for sleeping. PointA even included a nice breakfast.

It looks like Point A is opening a second location in the Liberties with even lower rates than the Parnell Street location. These are definitely worth looking at. Thanks, jjgurley.
