We leave for Doolin, Dingle, Kenmare, Kilkenny and Dublin this week. We’re staying at B&B’s (hotel Kilkenny and Dublin) so I’ll report back mid August.

We stayed in a very nice, central apartment in Kenmare that I booked through AirBnB (my preferred way to travel). It was on the main street above a shop. That said, I would never go to Kenmare again. It was overrun with American tourists. I’ve heard folks recommend Sneem as an alternative.

We’re staying in Sneem (on the Kenmare Peninsula) at the Parknasilla, which looks amazing!

We stayed in the Lighthouse b&b in Dingle.three times so.obviously we enjoyed it. Last visit a year or so ago. once at Cili Bhreah in Dingle a couple of years ago. Understand it has new owners so not sure what it is like. I also know I spelled it wrong but you should be able to look it up. We loved the upstairs balcony overlooking the harbor.

We stayed at Brooklane Hotel Kenmare at the road to Sneem Nice rooms and a very good Breakfast

Another much quieter option might be Parknasilla Resort 30 min down the road from Kenmare on the Ring of Kerry and near Sneem...... Location!!
